Faith

From April to September there is a lunchtime service on Fridays at 1.00pm. The 30 minute services have been purposely timed to encourage shoppers and office workers to take time out of their busy day to reflect and have space for God. Do come and join us

             St Mary de Crypt is part of the Parish of Hempsted with St Mary de Lode              and St Mary de Crypt, Gloucester - Church of England, Diocese of Gloucester.

             The parish is in partnership with Gloucester Cathedral.

The Rector is Nikki Arthy who is also a Residentiary Canon of Gloucester Cathedral. Services are held at St Swithun’s, Hempsted and St Mary de Lode every Sunday.    www.swithunandmary.org.uk

Services


Volunteers from the Gloucester Civic Trust currently offer guided tours and talks on a range of subjects relating to the church and the colourful characters associated with it, including 'George Whitefield and the Foundation of Methodism' and 'Robert Raikes and the Sunday School Movement'.


Opening Times

The church is open from 12 noon to 2.00pm Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays

A range of Concerts, Poetry performance, Storytelling, Art workshops and other events will resume next season from April 2017.
