Rock Painting
One of the most ancient arts: we’ll use acrylics and a range of tools and accessories to create our own rock works...make a mandala or a rock pet or a whole family! It’s all about imagination.

Wed 28 Aug 9.30am-12.30pm
Beading and Braiding
Learn the skills of the Vikings and Native Americans to make braids for all uses and decorate them with a selection of beautiful beads.

Thu 29 Aug 9.30am-12.30pm
Ink-making and quill writing
Learn the art of wet felting to make felt pictures, felted soap or felt bowls. Warning: felting is addictive!

History Mystery Trail
Follow the clues and find out some of the secrets of these buildings. The trail will take you all over the church and schoolroom....be ready to use your brain to work out some tricky puzzles. There’ll be prizes for bringing back the answers.

Tear and Wear Fashion
Design and create your own colourful costumes using newspaper and duck tape. We’ll end with a fashion show - who will be the star of the catwalk?

Find out how Elizabeth I’s Spymaster got his information. Learn Tudor tips for code making and invent your own secret code to share with friends.
