It Takes One Woman: Talk by Christina Rees

The pioneering ministry of Rev Florence Li Tim-Oi, the first woman to be ordained priest in the Anglican Communion, has been inspirational for generations of women. Christina Rees explores her life and legacy and the work of the Florence Li Tim-Oi Foundation that continues to enable women around the world to become inspirational leaders in their own communities.
Christina is a writer, commentator and practical theologian. She has been a Trustee of the Li Tim-Oi Foundation for 24 years and is currently the Acting Chair. Christina was a member of the General Synod for 25 years and a founder member of the Archbishops’ Council. She Chaired WATCH (Women and the Church) for many years and was at the forefront of the campaign for women bishops. In 2016 Christina was awarded a CBE for services to the Church of England.
