Painting with Pastels

Learn the art of working with soft pastels. Choose a subject – landscape or still life – and David Brindley will guide you through the process from composition through to building of form and texture. You’ll learn a variety of skills enabling you to continue working with pastels at home. Suitable for beginners or more advanced students.

David has worked as a freelance illustrator since leaving college in 1979. He works in watercolour as well as pastels and has many years of teaching experience. He specialises in detailed representations of local architecture.  He is a member of the Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre.
